Our Home is Your Home

Our Home is Your Home

Our purpose-built cabins provide accommodation for groups of up to 120 people. Two large barns house your amenities and ensure, even on rainy days, there is enough space for everyone. Outside there is plenty of parking and acres of room for activities, catching up or just walking. Some trails lead directly from the site.

On the edge of the New Forest, we are a 30 minute drive from the historical cities of Winchester, Salisbury and Southampton; and Weymouth on the Dorset coast is only an hour away by car.

Our season runs from May until September each year, in all weathers! Bookings during weekends and the school holidays are particularly popular. Our bookings calendar opens in October for the following season.

Inside the barns

Inside the barns

Barn 1 is a versatile space with sufficient room to meet for worship, dining and indoor activities. There is a stage with audio and projection equipment, a commercial kitchen caters for large and small groups, and our self-service area ensures campers never go without a cuppa! An office, first aid room, and tuck shop complete the amenities.

One half of barn 2 is an indoor sporting area with wall-mounted 5-aside goals. So even on rainy days, a ball can still be kicked around. The remainder of the barn houses a creche, which doubles as a small meeting room and a variety of shower rooms.

Accommodation

Accommodation

The site has four purpose-built dorms, sleeping up to 10 people in each, and equipped with a toilet and sink.

There are eight purpose-built cabins in place of traditional tents, each with 5 pairs of bunk beds, sleeping up to 10 people. These simple cabins provide a little more protection against the elements than sleeping under canvas, without, we hope, totally removing the experience of sleeping 'outdoors'. We also provide a limited number of caravan hook up points.

Outside

Outside

The site is discretely nestled into the beautiful Test Valley countryside, adjacent to National Trust woodland. If you are lucky, you might spot rabbits or the occasional deer roaming around nearby. The site has ample car parking for campers and day visitors. There are acres of space for your outdoor activities, including football and volleyball pitches and a designated area for bivouacking (for more adventurous campers!), and a communal campfire.
